The first story opens with the apparent end of the reign of the evil Voldemort, by the seemingly magical young baby called Harry Potter, the only child of James and Lily Potter. The wizard Albus Dumbledore, for safekeeping, delivers the boy to his aunt’s house. These are Harry Potter’s cruel non-magical relatives, the Dursleys.
